Location

San Diego Civic Youth Ballet performances are held at the historic Casa del Prado Theater in the heart of Balboa Park.

Getting There

The theater is near Park Boulevard, close to the Spanish Village Art Center and The Natural History Museum. You can find street parking on Park Boulevard and Village Place, or use the nearby large parking lots at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Village Place.

Parking Tips

Balboa Park can get crowded on weekends and holidays, so plan to arrive 30 minutes early to secure parking and reach the theater on time.Alternatively, patrons can park at Inspiration Point and take the free Balboa Park tram to the center of the park. Learn more about the tram system here.

Public Transit

If you're using public transit, plan to arrive at the nearest Balboa Park stop 15-20 minutes before your event.
East and West Side Stops


Several MTS bus routes serve the east and west sides of the park. For the west side, take Routes 3 or 120 and walk east on Laurel Street, passing the historic Cabrillo Bridge. The theater will be on your left. For the east side, use Routes 7 or Rapid 215, with stops near the Rose Garden or San Diego Zoo.

Connections

MTS bus routes in Balboa Park connect with MTS Trolley Lines, making it easy to access various parts of the city.
