SDCYB Alumni
Founded in 1945, San Diego Civic Youth Ballet is the resident classical ballet school in Balboa Park. SDCYB is building an alumni program to reconnect with former students, digitize historical materials, and create relationships and networking opportunities for current students. Generations of dancers have come through the arches of the Casa del Prado to take classes in our dance studios and perform on our stage, and the benefits of their dance education will be with them forever.

SDCYB is reaching out to dancers, parents, teachers, and board members who have been a part of the SDCYB family during the last seven decades. To rebuild the history of the organization, we want to hear the memories, stories, and lasting experiences of former SDCYB dancers of all eras. Already, we have reconnected with dancers from every decade of our existence, all the way back to the 1940's!
