Educational Outreach

Elevating the Arts in
San Diego's Classrooms

Students' access to dance education enhances their physical development by promoting skill, coordination, and strength while supporting emotional well-being through an increased sense of control, influence, and resilience. Since 2003, SDCYB's Educational Outreach Program has been dedicated to bringing ballet into San Diego public schools. As a trusted partner of the San Diego Unified School District, Lemon Grove School District, and a recognized Arts Education Resource Organization by the San Diego County Office of Education, we bring professional teaching artists directly into classrooms.

Our VAPA-approved classes for UTK-5 students are designed to fit each school's unique needs, goals, and budgets, all offered during regular school hours.

We believe every child deserves access to the transformative power of dance.
