San Diego Civic Youth Ballet offers a range of programs including classical ballet classes, programs for boys, homeschool students and dancers with disabilities, summer camps and intensives, as well as various artist enrichment opportunities.

Past year’s intensives have featured acclaimed guest faculty from around the country including ballet instructors John Lam, Kai Davis, Laura Dunlop, Ahita Ardalan Bergman, Jennifer Curry Wingrove and Tiffany Case Singlar, in addition to many other talented instructors who will enhance the experience by adding in other styles such as modern, jazz and musical theatre!

Advanced Intensive

june 23 - july 11, 2025 (3 weeks)

Duration: Three-week, full-day program.

Classes: Daily ballet technique, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique), Pilates, injury prevention, and music.

Diverse Experience: Advanced dancers learn from renowned guest faculty from around the country.

Culmination: The program concludes with an in-studio performance and reception for family and friends.

This intensive will be taught in-person in Balboa Park.

Tuition and 2025 Guest Faculty to be announced at a later date.

Intermediate Intensive

July 14-25, 2025 (3 weeks)
